Why Give?
Our Story
On January 12, 2025, our world changed forever. Our sweet son Parker was just 4 years old when he was diagnosed with T-cell Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia. In an instant, life became hospital rooms, medical terms we never wanted to learn, and an overwhelming fear for our child’s future. When I say nothing can prepare a parent for hearing the words “your child has cancer” I truly mean it.
Today, Parker is 5 years old and—thankfully—doing very well and responding incredibly well to treatment. He is everything a little boy should be: brave beyond his years, shining with positivity, and endlessly silly. Even on the hardest days, Parker finds a way to make us laugh, reminding us just how strong and resilient he truly is.
While we are so grateful for how well he is doing, the journey has been anything but easy. Treatment has been intense and challenging, involving a lot of chemotherapy and long hospital stays. For months, the hospital became our second home. During that time, I wasn’t able to work at all as I stayed by Parker’s side, and even now I am only able to work part-time while continuing to care for him.
Along with the emotional toll, the financial strain has been heavy. We are juggling our regular household bills, mounting medical expenses, constant travel to and from the hospital, and a significant loss of income due to caregiving. Parker’s treatment plan will last approximately three years, and while we are committed to doing whatever it takes for his health, the road ahead is long.
All donations made here will go directly toward Parker’s medical bills and care, helping us cover the costs so we can focus fully on his healing and well-being.
From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for being here, for reading Parker’s story, and for supporting our family in any way—through donations, sharing, keeping us in your thoughts, or kind words. Your love and generosity mean more to us than we could ever express.
